Peep on the Move

In the short video clip, watch the peep moving around the inside of the egg.  Check out the pictures as well.  Can you see the eyes?  What about the beating heart?  Some say they can see the peep’s beak…… what can you see?

Egg Update

Stewart and I candled the eggs on Monday, April 23.  We discovered two of the eggs showed no change and no sign of growth.  We substituted two new eggs.  All the eggs were candled again on Thursday, April 26 and all are showing changes indicating growth.  Look carefully at the picture below.  You can see veins, a shadowy area (the chick or peep as it is known) and the clear air sac on the left.

I Promised! I Delivered!

Thank you to 8L and 8P for setting up their dioramas in the library.  Make sure you take time to read the information that goes with each.  It is fascinating!!!

SPRING BOOK FAIR IS HERE!

With the Spring Book Fair set-up today, all the furniture in the library was rearranged.  We also had last minute book exchanges for classrooms to tide them over until the Book Fair is over.

Look at how much BES students love to share the couch for reading!
